CCTV Installers Sydney is published by One Orange Cow, a Sydney digital marketing agency founded by Brendan Byrne, who has spent more than 25 years in digital marketing. We built this site because when we looked for a genuinely independent, up-to-date guide to choosing a CCTV installer in Sydney, most of what we found was either a thin comparison page with no real research behind it or a single installer's own marketing dressed up as advice.
Our aim is to give Sydney homeowners, strata managers and small business owners a straightforward, well-researched starting point: real guides on the technical and legal side of CCTV, honest profiles of the installers we've researched, and a ranked list built on stated criteria you can check for yourself rather than a black box.

We've been upfront about that relationship throughout this site, including on our ranked pages, because we think that's the only fair way to run a site like this. AVsion is ranked first on our criteria - years operating in the eastern suburbs, licensing, warranty, no subcontracting and a verified Google rating - and we've set those criteria out publicly on our how we rate installers page so you can weigh the reasoning yourself rather than take our word for it. Other installers on this site are not clients of One Orange Cow, and we've never asked for or accepted payment to change a ranking.
Our editorial promise
We aim to be fair and factual. We only publish figures - licence numbers, years operating, ratings, review counts - that come from a primary source such as a business's own published licence, a verified Google Business Profile or the business's own stated claims, which we label clearly as such rather than passing off as verified. We never criticise a named business; we rank on the criteria we've set out and let the facts speak. If we've got something wrong, we want to know - corrections are welcome and we'll fix genuine errors promptly.
